Questions, answered

About the auto caption workflow

What video formats can I caption?

VerbaCut accepts common video formats such as MP4, MOV, and WebM, plus MP3 and WAV audio. Audio-only projects can export subtitle files; a burned-in MP4 needs a video track.

Can I edit the words and timing after transcription?

Yes. The transcript is an editable draft: correct wording, change each caption's in and out time, split or merge captions, and trim the final clip on the timeline.

Which subtitle files can I export?

You can download SRT, WebVTT, or plain TXT captions. When you need captions permanently visible, export a captioned MP4 with the selected style burned into the video.

Is the auto caption generator free to try?

VerbaCut includes a Free plan for trying the workflow. Paid plans add more processing minutes, higher-resolution exports, and additional workspace features; the current price and limits are shown before checkout.
